Is the Program of benefit to those who represent themselves and are unable to afford a lawyer?

This program is of significant benefit to those who must represent themselves and who are often unable to hire a lawyer. There are no complicated court forms to fill out and the entire process is designed to be simple enough so that even those persons who represent themselves can manage. Individual Program workers are assigned to each party and provide guidance to each party throughout the process. There are no court appearances and no case conferences at the courts with family court still being an option for those who may choose to opt out of the program.
